Apple this week introduced new features for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models. One of the most notable features on the Pro models is the multi-voice recording function, which is only available on these higher-end models. This feature is only available thanks to the A18 Pro chip and four studio-quality microphones found on the Pro series.
Multi-audio recording feature will only be available on iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models
Exclusive to iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, multi-voice recording offers great benefits for musicians and content creators. When recording music, users can create an initial audio recording and then add vocals or other instruments. For example, after recording a guitar, you can add your voice and layer these tracks on top of each other to create a rich sound.
Apple describes this feature as “advanced processing.” It can record audio while playing music through the iPhone’s speakers at the same time, filtering out background noise and providing only a clean audio recording. Moreover, you don’t need to wear any headphones while doing this. In other words, you can get a professional audio recording with just your phone.
In addition, these new models also feature spatial audio recording while shooting video. This allows users to experience a much more realistic sound experience while watching their videos. Especially with AirPods or another surround sound system, the sound quality of the videos you shoot will be at studio quality.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will offer a more professional experience to their users not only in terms of hardware but also with these new features. What do you think about this? Would these features be useful to you? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
